Greener Way to Paint Your House

A New Greener Way to Paint Your House for the Last Time

Are you tired of repeatedly having to paint your home? If you want to break the re-painting cycle but don’t like the idea of vinyl or metal siding, then you owe it to yourself to take a close look at a protective ceramic coating that gives the look of a freshly painted home year after year.

This specialized coating system is guaranteed for as long as you own your home, and has a 25-year transferable guarantee. You will never have to paint your home again.

Going Green

Rhino Shield Coating System is a green, eco-friendly product. The product is designed to be non-toxic, low-odor, and safe for skin contact. There are other reasons Rhino Shield is considered green: the ceramic topcoat is a Low-E thermal barrier that may reduce your energy consumption, and because of its mil thickness, Rhino Shield can be used to encapsulate lead paint. With the new EPA lead paint rule that took effect on April 22, 2010 you can feel safe that your older home will not be a source of exposure. (Lead paint was outlawed for residential use in 1978.) In the future this can be a selling point for a young family looking to eliminate the risk of lead paint exposure to their whole family.

How It Works

If it sounds too good to be true, look at the science behind Rhino Shield and you will see why it works long term. The advantages of the hollow ceramic micro-spheres are enormous, unlike the irregular shaped mineral fillers in paint. Rhino Shield’s “Protective Ceramic Coating” goes on 10 to 12 times thicker than paint and stays flexible, like a protective rubber membrane with a dense layer of billions of hollow ceramic micro-spheres.

The product waterproofs, ending dry rot, and warping, while at the same time it allows your walls to breathe properly, reducing the danger of black toxic mold. It works in similar way to Gore-Tex® and is vapor permeable. The only filler in the Rhino Shield are very small hollow ceramic micro-spheres, made by 3-M. This technology was originally developed over 40 years ago by NASA.

More Protection

The Ceramic Coating reflects over 90% of UV rays, which helps insulate and protects from damage of the sun and resists fading. Rhino shield coating is also Class A fire rated.

The real key to the success of Rhino Shield is the unique primer. Unlike most paint primer that does virtually nothing to bind paint to your walls and can peel with the paint, Rhino Shield has developed an adhesive penetrating waterproofing primer. It penetrates all porous surfaces and dries like contact cement; the result is that the finish ceramic coat is actually glued to the substrate and becomes part of the substrate and cannot peel, flake, or chip.

Finally, Rhino Shield simply lasts much longer than traditional paint. A product that extends the life cycle (by 50% or more) beyond the industry average is green. The reason is all products need raw materials and energy for manufacturing, and then more energy and pollution to transport. Long-lasting products mean less remanufacturing and less transportation over time. Go with Rhino Shield Ceramic Coating and never paint again.
